A new mars_nwe release is available.

This version updates the build to work again with newer toolchains, most notably **GCC 15. It is a small maintenance release, but useful for anyone still building mars_nwe on current Linux systems.

Changes

  • fixed build issues with **GCC 15
  • bumped release version to **0.99.pl26
  • minor build-related cleanup

mars_nwe remains what it has always been: a NetWare emulator for Linux for those who still have use for such things, whether for retrocomputing, protocol experiments, interoperability testing, or simple curiosity.

Installing rEFIt on a non Mac system was always a litle hard.
Debian derived distributins already had the rEFIt as a package to install.
rEFIt is a nice bootlaoder for all efi/uefi based boards (like my hp 6930p)
the ebuild for this nice bootmanager is located in my linamh overlay

Simply emerge -av sys-boot/refit

This ebuild depends on that your efi partition is mountet under /boot/efi
