Welcome to RTFM, the practical documentation corner of Geos One's site. The focus is the software and systems discussed on the blog: Debian and Gentoo, self-hosted services, DOS and classic Windows, Novell networking, and the tools developed or maintained alongside them.

What belongs where?

The blog records releases, experiments and background stories. RTFM collects instructions and notes that should remain easy to find. The forum is for questions, test results and discussion. For a confirmed project defect or a patch, use the relevant repository's issue tracker or contribution process.

Older blog posts describe the versions and environments used at the time. Check the publication date and the project's own documentation before applying an old procedure to another system. These introductory pages provide orientation; they do not claim that every project already has a complete installation manual.
